The Archbishop of Canterbury is the  most senior clergy man in England. He will also be conducting the Royal Wedding this morning. Here, he speaks on the Royal Wedding..

ROYAL WEDDING SHOCKER AS ROYAL TITLE ANNOUNCED

As the Royal Wedding slowly picks up pace this morning announcement from Buckingham Palace is that  the official Royal Tittle of HRH Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton after their  wedding will be THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE, a title that hasn't been used in the monarchy since 1904. Many had expected that Kate would have been bestowed a 'PRINCESS' by Her Majesty, The Queen but it is not to be so.

The palace have however reported that  everyone is 'excited' about the wedding in fact as at 8am this morning it is reported that there are already over 600,000 well wishers and campers at the Mall at Westminster Abbey.While the Royal Wedding is expected to be followed by over 2 billion people worldwide.

Meanwhile guests are beginning to fill the Westminister Abbey in anticipation of the bride's arrival with her father at 10am.

THE ROYAL WEDDING AT LAST AS HRH PRINCE WILLIAM MARRIES KATE MIDDLETON 11AM TODAY AT THE WESTMINSTER ABBEY, LONDON.

At long last today is 'The Royal Wedding between HRH Prince William and Catherine Middleton'. The anticipation, the great british build up and all the euphoria around the planning of the wedding of the century finally comes to a head and for the life of me, I'm wondering what I'm doing in Naij at this time when I should be in Westminster savouring and enjoying the atmosphere and experiencing the biggest street parties ever in the history of Great Briton. Last night, thanks to slow internet speed, I was so depressed I couldn't log on to the official Royal wedding website just to get a feeling of the non-stop Royal Wedding engine as no one is talking about it it here in Nigeria but after convincing myself that there is no point catching a last minute early morning flight just to get a glimpse of London at the peak of the partying, I have accepted that I did myself a personal injustice by being in Lagos today..(don't get me wrong I like it here) but I just know am missing so much more today. So to make it up to myself and SD readers, I intend to overdose on everything ROYAL WEDDING RELATED...I can't wait to see Kate's dress, her shoes, the reception, the cakes, the horse and carriage, the Queen...OMG! What am I doing in Naij???  Pshhh! Anyway, you've got me Lagos...so you know what??? Seriously Doughnuts declares our very own NIGERIAN ROYAL WEDDING E-CELEBRATIONS AND COVERAGE...so hop on guys, we wont miss a thing..

FELA IN LAGOS EXCLUSIVE REVIEWS: HEAR LAGOSIANS HAIL FELA! AS A ROARING SUCCESS!

As the curtains went down on FELA! The very first Broadway Musical to hit Nigeria, last minute punters scrambled for tickets for the final shows on the 25th of April as rumours of tickets being sold out triggered panic amongst FELA lovers. By all standards, the award winning American cast of FELA! performed before their most critical audience to date in Nigeria. With the audience looking and listening out for a show of authenticity of who Fela truly was in every aspect of the production and rightly so, after all Fela was one of us even more so he lived and died on Naija soil..So it was no surprise that the audience persistently corrected and re-pronounced words that the American cast didn't quite get right in yoruba as the show progressed but on the whole most agreed that the potrayal of Fela's life was beautifully reminiscent of the man Nigeria knew but lovingly misunderstood. FELA! for many was an educating and enlightening show demystifying aspects of Fela's life that many were never exposed to especially as the audience included many young people of the 80's who had probably heard of Fela but were too young to understand his struggles and what he stood for..
During a 15-minute recess and after the show, I asked a few of the audience about their thoughts and review of the show, I was particularly curious as to whether or not the show met with audiences expectations so I decided to ask a cross section of people from the young to middle aged to over 50's and I was blown away as to the reviews received as every single person I interviewed thought it was AMAZING!
I was going to type the reviews out but I guessed it would look like I made them up so here they are for you to listen to...

Well peeps, Lagos has spoken, I can't top that!!! I mean,what more can I say???...FELA! certainly made a huge impression on this big home coming and as the cast and crew leave Nigeria we bid them farewell they certainly did a brilliant job and to the much loved enigma that was Fela Anikulapo-Kuti we say Rest in Peace...

We're still Seriously Doughnuts and we're still on the town...
