No, she didn't email/write or call me ( calm down, I can explain...) I styled a photoshoot for Ovation Magazine with Karen Igho, Winner of Big Brother Amplified today and one of the outfits was actually a dress by Zizi Cardow..Honest this woman actually designs lovely, lovely pieces but as if in response to comments in a previous post about her personal style, the dress label aptly reads as above:
Zizi Cardow:
Don't judge me
Don't criticise...
for what i wear or who i am
For i am who i am
i am...
a state of independence..
Hmmmmm...What can I say???? I hear you Zizi...loud and clear!!! I guess its about time we all respect our individual 'State of Independence'...We all can't be the same can we??? What do you think????
I may not like her style but I love her attitude, :)
ReplyDeleteI am not sure why she needs to come across so defensive though.
ReplyDeleteSo the comments are hurting her. "Biko ndo Madam." "Fi le."
ReplyDeleteAnon 10.10; nice.
If it puts food on her table it's her perogative
ReplyDeleteI officially love her joor! Zizi Cardow..Nothing do you...*wink! wink!
ReplyDeleteI wish the quote was original, it would have made more sense if she did copy it from someone else.
ReplyDeleteI think you've all missed the point. It simply is a label...that also happens to state something. Regardless of what it states, it;s about whoever buys and wears the outfit and NOT about the designer herself. The fact that it is a topic for discussion, she has achieved what she wanted. I love the statement on a label idea!
