Kim Kardashian coming to Nigeria got everyone curious, excited and expectant..I was particularly looking forward to seeing what she would wear and although she looked really nice, I have to say that I was a tad bit disappointed that she didn't make a big enough effort fashion wise. I mean how can you come to fashion-loving Nigeria wearing a simple black leather dress??? Oh Noo you don't Kim. That was a fashion No-No! We don't do leather in Nigeria...Mba..(shaking my head...)
When asked what Kim thought of Nigeria, in her very famous soft tone she said "It's Amazing"...shame we can't say the same about her little black dress even though it kinda suits her but next time you come to Nigeria Kim, Please ASK SOMEBODY and DRESS UP for us OK?

Tiwa Savage we loooove. Her makeup was on point her dress by Stella McCartney looked stunning on her but what we really really couldn't keep our eyes off was the rock on her finger...love does make you glow...Congratulations girl!!

Where ever Noble Igwe goes our camera follows..(LOL), we kinda love this bloke and how he smartens up for events. Love him or lump him, this is one Noble Naija guy and he ain't going no where.On the night, yet again, he was super sharp...We like!

And then there was this super brave lady in a pretty little dress that only she could get away with...We were so taken aback that for a few seconds we stared on forgetting to actually photograph her...:)
Our verdict? Speechless...
The last pic, does she know her dress is torn? And such an unflattering bra when the dress demands you go braless? Tiwa's make up is too cakey, highlighting gone wrong, the seams on eku's dress is just plain wrong. Nigerian designers really need to work on their finishing but i must say the style is pretty edgy and fun. Then again eku will look good in garbage bags. Toolz, sexy as always bt she's looked better, and finally, toke needs butt pads mennnnn

ReplyDeleteAs for Toke's dress, I think Ejiro Amos taffiri did not make it well at all. Poor toke, she wtd to try sth new but d designer did not try. And as for the back, it's even worse because it doesnt work for her body type. Her weave is also off (the 'parting'). Anyway, she's not giving up and thx to ur blog n BN or giving her +ve reinforcement.
