MOST WANTED SHOES: S11 PRADA BROGUES ARE UGLY BUT Shhh!.. I SERIOUSLY LOVE..

Prada Brogues/Espadrille/Trainers ....took a while but I'm loving em'!!!

Fashion! Fashion! my mad passion....OK, I know I can be a bit mental when it comes to fashion appreciation and interpretation but even I was taken aback the first time I saw these PRADA S11 Brogues on the runway..I laughed out loud and thought...what the heck are those..???

Prada always does this craziness every now and again.. I mean how is a babe supposed to look with this Espadrille-Brogues-Trainers mutation with two layers of 2-tone micro and rubber sole finished in a hand stitched braided cord base. It's got lace-up perforations and stitchings typical of men's shoes, the top part is made of calf leather...it just looks like a big club sandwich!!

Doesn't look so ugly now...or does it ?

Just look at it...it's fashion madness but you know what that is how I felt a month ago...today I am a fashion victim and I shamelessly confess...I WANT ONE!!!!!
Stillettos are not working out for me in Lagos, I have almost broken my ankle a few times with our uneven roads. I now tend towards flatter more comfortable shoes that keep me better grounded....well that's my official excuse..but at £510 (N127,500/ $750 ) am thinking should I ????

It sold out a few weeks ago but now PRADA.COM have restocked and they have my size...Whooo Hooo!!...but I wont lie, am afraid oh..Lagos peeps have a bad mouth when it comes to things they don't understand or like and as it took me a whole month to warm up to this massive club-sandwich shoe I think it will get dissed..LOL! So, maybe I should give it some time before I get it? won't want to stick out like a sore thumb in Lagos...The plan is to blend in...you get ???

But for my Naija Green-white-Green days...this will be fab!

I think I like the brown one or maybe the black one with a blue sole...just imagine wearing a pair of hot dark linen shorts, a crisp white shirt and a little union jack scarf round the neck and finish off with a classic doctor's briefcase....Dang!!!! Gimme..! gimme!...gimme this Prada sandwich baby ...!!!

Meen whether Lagos loves it or not ...I'm gonna swagger this joooo...LOL!
