I GOT MY FIRST BLOG AWARD - YAY!!!

YEEE HAAAA!!!! I got my very first "I love your blog" award from Yeoal and I'm really excited especially as it's from another blogger, thank you so much Yeoal. You are way tooo kind.
Special thanks to Linda Ikeji and Niyi Tabiti who both encouraged me to start the blog.

As a recipient of the award, I have been asked to write 7 things about me and list 15 blogs I love so here goes;
1. I've been married for 10 years to the coolest bloke in the world, he gives me room to be me and loves me like no other..He is still the one I love.   Back then when we got married I was a size 10 today I am a size 10+..Hee! hee! We are blessed with 2 gorgeous boys.
2.I'm a serial entrepreneur, I love the idea of packaging and selling an idea or product and when I get the buzz, I just do  it..no mocking about..I love the buzz but I'm never afraid to walkaway from a bad business  idea or bad friendship..I'm quick to cut my losses and move on..
3.I'm naturally a lover, I give my heart freely but I'm learning now to love with caution, the world is full of 'not very nice people' who don't care much about love..my eyes have seen pepper no be small..LOL!


4.I love, love love accessories. As a child I was mad about plastic bangles and had them in every colour and I would wear each colour that was on the dress or outfit I wore. So if it was a multicoloured dress I looked like a walking rainbow with as many bangles my little hands could carry..LOL! Luckily for me I discovered bangles were not so cool when I got to senior secondary school.. just before I got to Unilag...Phew! My extremely strict father used to look at me and smile. If he thought I looked good he would laugh and call me by his pet name for me 'Iya Alaro' apparently she was the funkiest woman in his neighbourhood when he grew up in Abeokuta as a young boy. I often wondered if she had more bangles than me...LOL!
5. I'm the 5th of 6 children and I love,love,love my siblings to bits. There was always so much drama growing up that my friend nicknamed our house after a popular TV program in the 80's called "House Number 13".The best part for me? I had 3 funky older sisters so my wardrobe was always bursting with baffs (is it still cool to call clothes baffs?)
6.I'm not the easiest person to love, I'm simple yet so complex but I'm blessed with great friends that love me inspite of me.  Some of my closest friends and confidants are my in-laws, my Mother-in-law and I are so close we share secrets, my father-in-law and I go out partying..I can't imagine my life without them. I'm truly blessed.
7. I believe I was born to accomplish a goal in the grand scheme of God's plan. I have often struggled wondering and desperate to discover what exactly that plan is but I believe that my life's work will lead me there. Until I discover what God's plan is for my life, I soldier on..God willing I will make it alright...!!
