KANU NWAKWO TESTIMONIAL MATCH - THIS ONE IS FOR THE BOYZ (and footie loving girlz)

Every good thing they say must come to an end and as Kanu Nwankwo's international footballing career ends, friends, colleagues, fans and well wishers gathered to celebrate a deserving son and ambassador with a testimonial match and gala dinner evening.
Lead by football fanatic and Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola, the All stars line up of players was like something from football dreamland featuring players such as Jay Jay Okocha, Danny Shittu, Emmanuel Adebayor, Samuel Eto'o and others in a truly fantastic turnout for Kanu Nwankwo, who remains one of the best footballers Nigeria has ever produced...
The match itself saw the Super Eagles play against the rest of the World (Friends of Kanu) and of course the Super Eagles won..3-1(They always do right...LOL!). Kanu played for both sides, swapping shirts at half time but he scored  a goal for the Eagles..
Kanu Nwankwo, who once suffered from a life threatening heart condition that could have ended his career too early, since dedicated his life to giving and raising funds for  the cause of young heart condition victims through his charity, The Kanu Heart Foundation. Funds raised at the event will be donated to the foundation.
