When the Kinabuti fashion label went into the inner cities of Port-harcourt to find, train and empower young women found on the streets teaching them how to model, sew and basically earn a living for themselves, they made their stance known as a fashion label with purpose. It's so refreshing (in the fickle world of fashion) to see how Kinabuti continues to give these young ladies a chance to flourish...
At the recently concluded Nehemiah Project launch (see next post), Kinabuti's inner city girls strutted their stuff yet again showcasing Caterina Bortolussi's Kinabuti's take on fashion as well as rocking designs by Odion Mimonet, PhunkAfrique and iamIsigo
