KINABUTI HOSTS A FABULOUS FASHION ELITE NIGHT - "AIN'T NO PARTY LIKE A FASHION PARTY.."

It is true..Fashionista's are great dancers...

Kinabuti a fashion with purpose label created by Caterina Bortolussi (a Nigeria-based Italian designer) set out to host a fundraising fashion elite party on the 30th of April to foster many of its community regeneration and empowerment projects of which it has many success stories to show off, in fact Kinabuti has 21 of them. A story of 21 young women selected from impoverished towns across Port-harcout who Kinabuti trained and equipped in the art of make-up artistry, modelling, hair dressing etc empowering them to earn a living and fend for themselves.

Hence it was no surprise that the fashion, entertainment and even the corporate world turned out to support this worthy cause. If you ever heard Banky W say "Aint no party like a Lagos Party" scrub that ...Cos after last night I can tell you that there "Aint no party like a Fashion Party"...

Celebs, Radio DJ's, Fashion Editors, Models, Fashionistas et al came out to play at the Kinabuti Fashion Elite Night and boy did they party hard with a little help from MTV Award winner and rapper, Sasha and the original Port-Harcourt Person, Duncan Mighty and of course the fabulous DJ Neptune..

All took place at the Reeds Restaurant and Bar, Ikoyi. People had so much fun that half of the pictures I shot on the night had people's hands in the air and mouths wide open but as nice as I am, I'm saving those for another day..LOL!
