PICTURES PART I : LAGOS WELCOMES CAST AND CREW OF FELA THE BROADWAY MUSICAL AT AN EXCLUSIVE COCKTAIL RECEPTION

"Everybody say..Yeah! Yeah" This was one of the many FELA gags flying around at the cocktail reception held on Sunday the 17th of April at The EKO Hotel to welcome the cast and crew of FELA as they touched down in Lagos. Guests where spoilt with a sultry live performance by the talented and vivacious, Yinka Davies, whose performance and delivery of naija flavoured beats set the event on a high. Guests and the energetic cast and crew of FELA had the opportunity to meet and greet while sipping on tipples sponsored by Martini and GreyGoose Vodka. There was also a fashion feast for the eyes as talented designer labels; Orange Culture, Gozi, Zebra, Vonne Couture, Kem Kem Studio and Kiki Kamanu showcased conversational pieces inspired by FELA!
The cast and crew looked relaxed and quite excited to be on Lagos soil while some described Nigeria as 'The motherland' as though the journey to Lagos was a home coming of some sort at least for FELA this is certainly a huge home coming and when it comes to making guests feel at home, Nigeria certainly has that 'chill out' effect on people besides in Naija we know the first words in hospitality...'All Drinks are on the house'".....Everybody Say ..Yeah! Yeah!"
